1. WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Boox. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Boox is a platform for last-minute beauty and wellness bookings. We connect consumers with businesses like hair salons, nail studios, barbers, massage therapists, and more.

2. USING THE PLATFORM

  • You must be 18 or older.

  • You agree to use the app only for personal, lawful purposes.

  • You’re responsible for the accuracy of your profile info and bookings.
     

3. NO REFUNDS

  • All bookings are final. Because appointments are last-minute, no refunds will be issued. Please book carefully.
     

4. DATA & PRIVACY

We care about your privacy and are transparent about how we use your data. By using Boox, you agree to the following:

What We Collect:

  • Location Data – to show relevant services near you.

  • Device Information – type of phone, OS version, and browser.

  • User Behavior – what pages you view, how often you use the app, and your booking patterns.

  • Optional Info – if you choose to provide it, like gender or preferences to improve personalization.

How We Use It:

  • To improve your user experience and personalize content.

  • To analyze performance and usage patterns for analytics.
    To resolve issues, prevent fraud, and ensure platform security.

  • To communicate updates, promotions, or relevant offers (only if you opt in).

Who We Share It With:

  • We do not sell your data.

  • We may use third-party services like Google Analytics or Stripe, who process data securely and only as needed.

Your Choices:

  • You can disable location services in your device settings (though some features might not work properly).

  • You can request to access or delete your personal data by contacting us.

Data Storage:

  • We store your data securely and only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.

  • Data may be processed outside your country, always with appropriate protections.
     

By using the app, you consent to this data being collected and used for analytics and service improvements.
 

5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep your availability and prices up to date.

  • If you double-book by mistake, you must give priority to users who booked through Boox.

  • You must honor appointments made through the app.
     

6. LISTING CONTENT

  • You’re responsible for the accuracy of your business profile, services, prices, and cancellation policies (if any).
     

7. FUTURE PAYMENTS

  • Payouts will be subject to Stripe’s standard processing times and fees.
     

8. CHANGES TO THE PLATFORM

We may update features, pricing, or these Terms. We’ll do our best to notify you, but it’s your responsibility to stay informed.
 

9. TERMINATION

We may suspend or remove access if you misuse the app, violate these terms, break the law, or if consumers complaints against your business or you fail to reach our app standard
